I am a computational geneticist trained at Beijing Institute of Genomics, Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Chicago, under the mentorship of Jurg Ott, Suzanne Leal and Matthew Stephens.
In 2020, I was appointed Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where I lead a Functional Genomics Lab at the Center for Statistical Genetics, Department of Neurology. I keep this website as a reflection of my scientific life as a trainee (2009-2020), as well as my blogging site to share with family and friends some useful non-scientific documents.
