I am a computational geneticist trained at Beijing Institute of Genomics, Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Chicago, under the mentorship of Jurg Ott, Suzanne Leal and Matthew Stephens.
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. I lead a Computational Biology Group consisting of students from Computer Science, Biostatistics and Epidemiology departments at Columbia; and postdocs from across the world. Course projects are offered for Columbia students at both undergraduate and graduate levels through the computer science program.
