I am a computational geneticist trained at Beijing Institute of Genomics, Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Chicago, under the mentorship of Jurg Ott, Suzanne Leal and Matthew Stephens.

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. I lead a Computational Biology Group consisting of students from Computer Science, Biostatistics and Epidemiology departments at Columbia; and postdocs from across the world. Email inquiries are welcomed if you would like to join our computational research on genetics and brains. Course projects are offered for Columbia students at both undergraduate and graduate levels through the computer science program.
